Summer 1st Grade sessions are designed for children entering 1st Grade in the fall of 2024.

IMPORTANT NOTE: No instruction the week of July 4th.

TUESDAYS: 2:15 - 3:15

June 11th, 18th, 25th

July 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Emphasis is on phonetic word decoding, phonetic spelling patterns and sight word development. Learned skills are applied using appropriately leveled books provided for home use. Additional focus is placed on developing early writing skills.
