Spelling

Three different sets of leveled Spelling Lists accompany the 26 lessons. Your child will learn patterned spelling to reinforce vowel patterns taught in the Voweletics Lesson.

The levels increase in difficulty from basic spelling patterns to more complex spelling with prefixes, suffixes and multi-syllabic words. Every spelling level is aligned with the corresponding Voweletics Lesson. You will choose which spelling list matches your child’s ability.

Tips and Suggestions

Use the Dictation audio files found under the lesson on the web portal. This is a great way for your child to practice independence. Dictation sentences will help to reinforce proper sentence structure.
Plan fun and creative ways to practice the spelling words. Searching the Internet will help provide some ideas.
