Word Family

Your child is provided with a list of all consonants, consonant blends and digraphs to use with the Word Family.

Consonants: letter of the alphabet found in isolation that is not the vowel: b & t as in bat
Consonant Blends: two consonants blended together in a word:  fl as in flat
Digraph: two letters together that make a single sound in a word:  ch as in chat
